Solidarity initiative “Agro AMA a Ucrânia” featured again in the 2025 edition
InvestBraga, in partnership with the Luso-Ukrainian Association, once again promotes the solidarity initiative "AMA Ukraine," integrated into the 57th edition of AGRO – International Fair of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food, which will take place from April 3 to 6 at Forum Braga.
This solidarity campaign aims to support the Ukrainian people in overcoming the severe hardships imposed by the criminal and terrorist war of aggression. The first edition of this initiative, held in 2024, involved the collaboration of various public and private entities and resulted in the shipment of a TIR truck to Ukraine, primarily loaded with non-perishable food items.
The success of the previous campaign and, above all, the urgent need to respond to the numerous requests for aid have motivated the repetition of this initiative, which will reach its peak during AGRO 2025. From March until the end of the event, the collection of essential goods will be promoted, including non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, cleaning products, medicines, and first-aid supplies. It is important to highlight that this campaign does not include the collection of clothing.
In addition to this solidarity action, AGRO 2025 strengthens its educational commitment by dedicating two days to school and institutional visits, with over 3,137 students already registered. "The goal is to engage the school community and raise awareness among younger generations about the agricultural and food sectors," emphasizes Carlos Silva, Executive Director of InvestBraga.
